In 2016, the Department of Health commissioned  Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) to find out about the experiences of people with care and support needs a year after the Care Act 2014 came into effect. They asked questions on a variety of topics including whether people felt it was easy to get information and advice, or did they have choice and control of their care and support.
